Abstract
An essay is presented on Armenian Apostolic Church contemporary study from 1991-2011 within the political and social context which understands the transformation and challenges of the three catholicoi such as Garegin I, Garegin II and Vazgen I. Topics discussed include the declare of philosopher Vazgen I that Russians are their historical allies, the role of the church in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, and the achievement of the Armenian Republic through the Karabagh Freedom movement.
