Abstract
Describes the growth of rickettsia-like organisms TATLOCK and HEBA on artificial media. Primary specimens for the study; Information on the cultural and biological characteristics of HEBA and TATLOCK compared with those of WIGA and Legionella pneumophila; Direct fluorescent-antibody staining characteristics of Legionella pneumophila, WIGA, HEBA and TATLOCK conjugates; Antimicrobial agents of the organisms DNA relatedness of HEBA and TATLOCK to similar organisms.
