The article discusses the evolution of dispensing technology from manually operated dispensers to robot-mounted valves. Topics discussed include manufacturers are faced with the challenge of producing smaller products with high quality and faster throughput, need of reliable simple-to-use components, and equipment to ensure process repeatability, and dispensing technology has emerged from benchtop, foot-pedal-controlled equipment, to semi and fully automated high performance valves.
