Abstract
The article stresses the need for continued assessment and clinical management of oral health and cardiovascular disease in people living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and discusses the association between HIV and cardiovascular disease risk, lifestyle risk factors, behavioral interventions and role of oral care in reducing cardiovascular disease risk.
