Abstract
The article discusses a study evaluating multitarget stool DNA (MT-sDNA) testing as an option for stool-based colorectal cancer screening. Topics covered include the health care utilization of MT-sDNA testing and the rates of colorectal cancer incidence and mortality in patients who complete MT-sDNA testing. Also mentioned is the link between harms of MT-sDNA testing and colonoscopy performed as follow-up after positive results.
