Abstract
The article focuses on the significance of an anaesthetic preoperative assessment for patients in Great Britain. It examines arguments that opposes and supports the need for a routine postoperative visit by anaesthetist to all patients undergoing treatments in the country. It further discusses the advantages of a routine postoperative visit.
