Abstract
The article focuses on award of the Swedish Archaeological Society's "Golden Trowel" prize presented to Johan Runer of Uppdrag Arkeologi for the excavation report Oppeby Gård. Topics include examines that aim of the prize is to recognize the effort put into the production of knowledge in Swedish archaeological fieldwork every year and highlight the information and research value of the resulting reports.
