Abstract
The article focuses on the Islamic glass fragments that are found from excavations in Jerusalem. The vigilance of the workmen digging foundation trenches into the earth led to the collection of these fragments, and afterwards many of them were purchased for the Mayer Institute in Jerusalem. Although these materials do not stem down from archeological excavations, they establish a prime discovery and shade light on Islamic glass at Jerusalem.
