Abstract
The article focuses on Sensory, Musical, Interactive, Learning Experience (SMILE), a project developed for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). A background on PMLD is given. The aims of SMILE are discussed. The features of each SMILE session and activity are also addressed.
