Abstract
The article discusses the health risk of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) due to obesity in developed countries. It examines the immunopathogenesis of NAFLD as well as the immune response of the individuals with NAFLD. It also cites the manifestation of metabolic syndrome that could lead to chronic liver disease.
