Abstract
The article presents a research study that evaluates the efficacy of systemic isotretinoin in the treatment of partial and full thickness wounds in a porcine model. The study is conducted in 2 Hanford miniature pigs that were administered with isotretinoin over a 60-day period. The results of the study indicate that isotretinoin therapy can be best if done along with invasive surgery.
