Abstract
The article focuses on protecting high-risk institutionalized residents from COVID-19 in Singapore dormitories, detailing the strategic response based on risk stratification, regular testing, and immediate removal of infectious sources. It reports that despite a surge in cases, innovative approaches such as moving high-risk individuals from transmission zones were successful in preventing severe disease, and the strategy can be adapted to similar closed settings like refugee camps and prisons.
