Abstract
The article focuses on private health insurance plans must comply with requirements at both the state and federal levels, where applicable. It mentions Federal requirements for health plans are codified primarily in three statutes such as Title XXVII of the Public Health Service Act (PHSA), Part 7 of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), and Chapter 100 of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC).
