Abstract
The article discusses the potential of medical expulsive therapy (MET) in treatment of uretreric colic, based on the Spontaneous Urinary Stone Passage Enabled by Drugs Trial that was done from January 2011 to December 2013. Topics covered include the trail was done on 1,167 participants in hospitals all over Great Britain, treatment options using MET include tamsulosin, nifedipine and placebo, and results of the SUSPEND trial were incomplete, as 62 of the patients finished it.
