Abstract
The article presents a study on the hazard assessment of residues and doses of acephate baits to eliminate undesirable honey bees. It states that the residues of acephate was measured in dead adult bees samples and honey-beeswax matrix and the residues were measured by gas chromatograph. Result shows that honey bee eradication through acephate baiting demonstrates minimal environmental hazard, and the effectiveness of the low doses in the baiting system is due to acephate direct delivery.
