Abstract
The article presents abstracts of studies from various sports medicine and pediatric journals. J. F. Sallis and colleagues researched the validity of children's self-reports of their physical activity. T. N. Robinson and colleagues examined the association between obesity, television viewing, and physical activity. Other studies looked at the Wingate anaerobic test, the ventilatory threshold, the atherosclerotic process, a nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy of exercising muscles, and hormonal changes in runners with menstrual dysfunction.
