Abstract
The article discusses the study which explores the effectiveness of diffusive gradients in thin films (DGT) on determining the metal bioavailability in mine tailings. It states the usage of DGT device on identifying the effect of acidic pH and dissolved ions on chelating resins. Moreover, it emphasizes that DGT instrument had high reliability to determine solutions with high metal concentrations and low pH.
