Abstract
The article provides insights obtained from the observations of the isopod Edotia dahli living on the echinoderms sea-star Heliaster helianthus and the sea urchin Arbacia sp., and report the distributional limits of the isopod on the Pacific coast of Chile. Nearly 20 percent of sampled sea-urchins are revealed to host isopods from two to >100 individuals per host. E. dahli is described to be present at higher latitudes than previously recorded in the central Chilean coast thereby extending the northern distribution range three° to 29°S.
