Abstract
The article discusses the shortcomings of schools in Great Britain when it comes to teaching students the technological skills they need for the future. It addresses concerns that the information and communications technology (ICT) curriculum was the reason for the decline in the number of students taking computer science at the A-level and beyond. The potential impact of the disconnect between students and modern technology on the British economy is also considered. INSET: The Raspberry Pi.
