Abstract
The article examines the correlation between performance on the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) qualifying examination (QE) and oral certifying examination (OCE). The research, conducted from 1980 to 2022, aims to understand the relationship between scores on the QE and OCE to determine the utility and complementarity of these two assessments in evaluating physicians' knowledge and skills in emergency medicine.
