Abstract
The article presents a study on the effects of enamel matrix derivative and recombinant human transforming growth factor-beta on osteoblastic differentiation of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and human periodontal ligament stem cells. It discusses the identification of stem cell surface markers, evaluation of cell characteristics and expression of osteoblastic genes.
