Abstract
The article reveals the flaws in the Canadian health care system. An overview of the Canadian health care system including the taxes paid for hospital and physician care and the cost of private insurance is presented. Among the problems in the Canadian health care system that were discussed are the longer wait times to receive treatment, the failure of public insurance plans to cover the cost of medical options vital in surviving an illness, and access to fewer innovative drugs.
