Summary: This study is to make the work available to a variety of choral groups. Its difficulty level would make it accessible to a college or advanced high school choir, as well as a church or community group with intermediate or better musical skills. Using reproductions of Raphael's painting as a resource, a multimedia performance, such as Fanny described, is possible; the subject matter (the patron saint of music) lends itself to a program in praise of music or the arts in general. A transcription of the original manuscript is in Appendix A and a performing edition with a new realization of the missing piano accompaniment to the soprano solo is included as Appendix B.
