Abstract
This is a case-style report of the consumption adjustments by two men as a result of the loss of their jobs and income. Emphasis is given to personal and social areas of consumption. The consumer behavior exhibited by the informants reflects both a reaction to the current context of job loss and consideration of personal, historical backgrounds. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
