Abstract
The article offers information that economic crises are often accompanied by waves of antiminority behavior. It mentions that former U.S. president, Donald Trump won the presidency on a platform blaming immigrants for middle-class stagnation and, during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, blaming immigrant groups for spreading the virus.
