Abstract
The article reports that $197 billion U.S. Federal Thrift Savings Plan has passed California Public Employees' Retirement System, as the U.S.'s largest retirement plan which has reported $173.9 billion. It is stated that this means that the top retirement plan in the U.S. for the first time is a defined contribution plan.
