Abstract
This article presents the opinion of Maersk Logistics USA President Michael J. White on the challenges that he expects the global logistics sector will face in 2008. He points out the capabilities of an emerging breed of truly global, full-scale logistics providers. He explains how third-party logistics providers (3PL) add value. White said he anticipates more 3PL acting as their clients' international infrastructure.
