Abstract
Shows that the examples of contemporaneous causality discussed by J. Hicks in 'Causality in Economics' belong instead to the category of static causality. Temporal distinction between contemporaneous and sequential causality according to Hicks; Limitations in Hicks' propositions which concentrate on temporal structures as the basis of causal relations in theoretical models.
