Abstract
The article discusses the importance of peer reviews in journal publishing. According to the author, important findings and information are lost when academics and researchers fail to have selective peer review system. Senior editor Trish Groves referred to the increased confidence an open peer review may provide to a published work as the main reason for adopting it. She asserted that the identification of peer reviewers would enhance the quality of reviews.
