Abstract
The article presents a speech delivered by Dean Shoba Sivaprasad Wadhia at the 2022 St. John's Law Review Virtual symposium. Topics include the life and works of the late Michael A. Olivas, the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Plyler v. Doe, the status of undocumented immigrants in the country, and the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution.
