Abstract
The article offers the author's view on the proactive statements of investment analyst Ken Fisher on the trends in investment policy in the U.S. He discusses the statements of Fisher regarding registered investment advisor (RIA) as under threat of being taken over by broker-dealer (BD) in terms of regulatory issues, the potential demise of RIA within 10 years, and the potential role of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as the biggest threat to existing regulatory framework.
