The article reports on the findings of an online survey conducted by Allianz Global Investors and GfK Roper to gauge the expectations and actions of individuals with at least 250,000 U.S. dollars in investable assets. The survey revealed that investors are aware of the current U.S. economic and market crisis. Strong cultural bias toward equities is one of the causes of investors' reluctance to change. One way to encourage investors is to manage long-term financial expectations.
