Abstract
The article focuses on various issues related to the future of biosimilar drugs. It explains biosimilars as the approved versions of innovator biopharmaceutical products made by a different sponsor and mentions the ongoing debate regarding the need for complete clinical trials of bisimilars. It also discusses various other issues related to biosimilar drugs which include their bioequivalence, and immunogenicity testing requirements.
