Abstract
The article looks at businessmen who have entered yacht races, describing the participation of Jim Clark, co-founder of Internet firm Netscape, in the 2014 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and noting his second-place finish. Others mentioned include Larry Ellison, founder of software firm Oracle, an entrant in the 2013 America's Cup yacht race, and Sami Inkinen, co-founder of online real estate firm Trulia, an entrant in the 2014 Great Pacific yacht race.
