Abstract
An interview with Mike Paris, vice president of compression product line at Valerus, a provider of oil and natural gas handling solutions, is presented. He discusses opportunities for exploration and production operators in Mexico after it opened to the private sector; market position of Valerus in Mexico; new compression technologies explored by the industry; challenges to compression operators and manufactures due to emission regulations; and efforts of manufactures to meet increased demand.
