Abstract
The article focuses on phenomenon of Soviet political economy of socialism and genre of economic writing was often interpreted as an indicator of the changing political intentions of Soviet leaders. It mentions evolution of the political economy of socialism and ways to overcome the gap between official ideology and mass consciousness by making authoritative discourse. It also mentions path from capitalism to communism should include a transition period to socialism.
