Abstract
Banco BV, a midsize lender in Brazil, has closed its brokerage firm and transferred clients to Banco Bradesco as part of an integration into a joint venture called Tivio Capital. The move is part of a strategic plan between the two banks. Tivio currently manages around 30 billion reais ($6 billion) and is 51% owned by Bradesco. Banco BV's net income was 1.154 billion reais last year, down 21% from 2022, and it has 142.7 billion reais in assets. [Extracted from the article]
