Abstract
The author shares his view regarding the importance of old places to win award for good urbanism in Great Britain. He negates the idea of allowing old place to win good urbanism award and stresses the importance of recognizing a new place that would become a great place in the future. He infers that the Academy of Urbanism will consider places that are not complete or are still existing in the country as candidates for the initiative.
