Abstract
The article presents information on five principles that will help in accelerating the promotion of women to the senior positions and also nominating them to sit on boards of the companies in Canada. As reported, the lack of women in management represents a significant opportunity cost for the companies in Canada, which have to remain competitive. This article also discusses how companies in Canada inadvertently handicap themselves by failing to tap into the entire available talent pool.
