Abstract
The article profiles Laura Ashley, the late fashion designer and owner of the Laura Ashley fashion and home decoration business. Topics discussed include a handiwork exhibit at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, England as the inspiration for home decoration business, factors contributing to the success of her company death in 1985 after a fall.
