Abstract
The article offers information related to a workshop hosted by the Bank of England, the central bank of the United Kingdom, in July 2013. It informs that the issue of the risks posed by insurers for both insurance policyholders and financial stability was discussed with representatives from the industry, academia and the wider policymaking community at the workshop.
