Abstract
The article discusses efforts by governments around the world to transform the public by means of e-Participation, examining the different ways such institutions utilize information and communication technologies (ICT) to improve internal efficiency. ICT is being used to enhance citizen participation in policy-making and solicit citizen input into policy planning. Other topics include e-Participation initiatives that can encourage two-way communication and the fit between e-Participation objectives and the ICT tools used to achieve those goals.
