Abstract
The author discusses on the safety issues involved with construction of development projects in London, England. Topcis discussed include schemes to improve the city's roads and streets for all road-users by Transport for London (TfL) policy, encouragement to contractors and their consultants to plan projects better, setting of road works patrol in partnership with local cycle groups, and management of Heavy goods vehicles (HGV).
