Abstract
The article discusses the valuation process in green and high performance houses. An overview of the process in valuing green houses is offered including the documentation, describing improvements, elements of comparison, and selection of comparables as well as the techniques in measuring contributory value. It also presents a case study which uses procedures in the Basic Appraisal Principles and Basic Appraisal Procedures in adjusting green or energy-efficient items.
