Abstract
According to the MEED Business Review, the Middle East and North Africa region saw an estimated $24 billion in contract awards in March 2024, more than double the previous month. The increase was largely due to a $16 billion gas contract awarded in Iran. Saudi Arabia and the UAE also had significant contract awards, with $3.9 billion and $1.5 billion respectively.
