Abstract
In February 2024, the Middle East and North Africa region experienced a decrease in project awards, with a total of $10.1 billion awarded, significantly lower than the monthly average of $23.4 billion over the past year. Saudi Arabia led the way with $5 billion in contract awards, including a $1.2 billion deal for the development of the City Park project in Riyadh. The UAE followed with $3.1 billion in awards, with the largest being a $900 million contract for the Al Ajban solar facility. Oman and Qatar also saw significant contract awards in February.
