Abstract
The article discusses discoveries in archaeology during 2016, including of Roman waxed wooden writing tablets in London (Londinium), England. Topics, including aerial laser-scanning archaeological project of region the Angkor Wat region in Cambodia, the political violence that led to the 7th century B.C.E. mass grave in Phaleron Delta necropolis, near Athens, Greece and the radiocarbon dating of what is known as the Tarkhan Dress from ancient Egypt circa 3482 and 3103 B.C.E., are discussed.
