Abstract
The authors reflect on the article "High-sensitivity troponin assays and clinical decisions," by M. Christ and T. Bertsch, and "High sensitivity troponin outperforms contemporary assays in predicting major adverse cardiac events up to two years in patients with chest pain.?" by S. J. Andous. They argue against the findings of these studies. They also describe the major advantage of high sensitivity cardiac troponin hs-cTn.
