Abstract
The article talks about an intense rainfall that has suffered the Tenerife Sur airport and its runway in Spain. It mentions that the storms and fronts typical of temperate zones affect to the Canary Islands mainly during the months of December and January. It mentions lower-middle troposphere has presented a flow southern component with a marked vertical shear; and the warm and humid mass has increased the instability of the low atmosphere.
