Abstract
The article focuses on nocardiosis, a systemic granulomatous disease in longsnout seahorse Hippocampus reidi associated with aerobic microbe Nocardia nova. Topics discussed include the collection and cultured of samples of liver and kidney for aerobic bacteria on the trypticase soy agar, the decalcification and staining, and the antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
